A NEW central European fleet sourcing operation has been established by GE Capital Fleet Services in a bid to provide customers with increased value for money contracts. The 16-strong team with headquarters in Brussels is headed by Italian-born Nicoletta Giadrossi.

As European sourcing director, he has been charged with negotiating supply arrangements with vehicle manufacturers as well as a raft of fleet providers ranging from breakdown and recovery operators to fuel suppliers and fast-fit companies to accident management businesses. GE Capital Fleet Services is at the forefront of the increasing move towards pan-European fleet deals and the new team is composed of a sourcing sales force based in Brussels at GE Capital Fleet Services' European headquarters and regional sourcing managers interfacing with distributors and monitoring service levels.

The new department will not interact with customers but will establish a range of services allowing customers to select the fleet services required from preferred suppliers. The customer's fleet will continue to be leased and/or managed by GE Capital Fleet Services at a local level. The new department will also to continue to liaise with all manufacturers to ensure best possible terms for customers.
