TWELVE divisions of Granada have outsourced their combined fleet of 3,500 company cars to PHH Vehicle Management in a contract worth £10 million over the next five years. PHH won the deal following a six-month, five-way tender process, and will now contract hire and maintenance manage Granada's dual badge Vauxhall and Toyota fleet, while providing drivers with its Allstar fuel card.

Each of the divisions covered by the contract - which include Little Chef, Travelodge, Yorkshire Television, British Digital Broadcasting, Granada Motorway Services, Granada Television, Granada Entertainment, and Granada Food Services - have different fleet requirements. The Forte division, for example, will take advantage of a direct driver support line and install a customised version of PHH's fleet management software system Fleetcom, while Granada Television and BDB drivers will have the option of PHH's personal motoring scheme.
