VAUXHALL Master Hire has launched a tie-up with National Tyres and Autocare to offer a major pan-European tyre service to fleets. The European Tyre cover programme will offer access to the newly-launched pan-European tyre network of National Tyres and Autocare, run in conjunction with tyre manufacturer Continental.

Customers will have access to the tyre expert network in the UK, which includes 425 branches and a further 150 independent fast-fit outlets, as well as 2,275 outlets in Europe through the pneus expert network in 18 countries. The coverage will expand even further as National extends its pan-European network to 3,000 sites by the end of the millennium.

All administration for work carried out outside the UK goes back to the National Tyres and Autocare administration centre or Vauxhall Master Hire in the UK. Tony Williams, director of Vauxhall Master Hire, said: 'We encourage all our customers to go to Vauxhall Masterhire for their requirements, but if it is more convenient, they now have another supplier they can turn to.'
