FLEET drivers who find a BMW out of their price league will find it more within reach with the launch of the new entry-level 316i, in March. Sporting a 1.6-litre 105bhp engine it should be priced well below the £20,000 mark.

April will see the launch of the fire-breathing M5 with a 400bhp 5.0-litre V8 engine, and 3-series Coupe, in 328 and 323 format while September will see the launch of the new 320d common rail diesel, offering 136bhp, adding to the current 3.0-litre diesel available in the 5-series. The new X5 off-roader might reach British shores by December, although the manufacturer says it could take until next year to arrive.
