JUDGING of the 31 categories in the 1998 Fleet News Awards has been completed, with the winners due to be announced at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on March 18.

The fleet industry annual 'Oscars' will this year be hosted by television personality Des O'Connor with music from Sheila Ferguson, formerly lead singer of the Three Degrees.

More than 1,100 people from across the fleet industry will attend the industry's night of the year and acclaim the winners of the fleet manager awards, service company awards and fleet manufacturer awards. This year is the 10th anniversary of the awards and the special souvenir awards brochure will celebrate the birthday with a look back to previous award winners.
