NORMAN Donkin has been appointed director general of the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association. He was previously the association's secretary general.

The BVRLA feels the newly created position better reflects the status and importance of the association. Member companies are responsible for around 35% of all new vehicle registrations each year, some 750,000 units.
