SURGING corporate demand has prompted Land Rover to introduce a brace of highly specified new models to the Freelander range. The 1.8 Xi and 2.0 Xdi include alloy wheels and air conditioning and are specifically targeted at user-choosers and business users.

Land Rover marketing director Jim Campbell said: 'We have found that a significant number of customers choosing 1.8i petrol and 2.0di diesel models, especially those planning to use the vehicle in connection with business, order the same package of options. 'Despite Freelander only going on sale in January, we are able to introduce two new additional models which feature all these options as standard equipment, offering customers greater flexibility and choice.'

The new models are available now at £19,270 for the petrol and £20,270 for the diesel.
