NISSAN has become the first vehicle manufacturer to join and endorse AT&T's TransLease electronic invoicing system. The decision follows a limited trial project involving Nissan's fleet department and selected dealers last year.

It means all 270 UK Nissan franchised dealers will be able to offer fleet customers a faster and more efficient repair service - saving both parties time and money. Nissan joins companies like Lex Vehicle Leasing, Highway and Autolease, which have already committed themselves to the TransLease system, which links leasing and fleet management companies directly to repair agents and facilitates automatic authorisation of repair work.
