JAGUAR has launched a new advanced driver training course to help buyers of new Jaguar and Daimler cars hone their driving skills. The £300, plus VAT, one-day course will be available from all Jaguar dealerships and focus on drivers' observation, concentration and anticipation to develop a safe, confident driving style.

The course will also help to familiarise drivers with their new Jaguar or Daimler, including the cars' technical features such as anti-lock braking, traction control and Jaguar's J-gate automatic gearshift. The instructors are being supplied by an agency and then trained by Jaguar.

Andrew Lester, Jaguar's director of UK operations, said: 'Advanced, safe driving techniques and well-taught roadcraft help reduce driver stress and ensure that driving remains an enjoyable experience.'
