RENAULT has released the first details of its new Laguna which will be officially launched in Britain on May 7. The revamped Laguna features two new engines - a 1.6 16V 110bhp petrol unit and 1.9dTi 100bhp turbodiesel, with a new 120bhp 1.8 16V petrol engine to follow.

ABS and a CD player are standard across the range, while air conditioning and electric sunroof are standard from the 1.8 RT upwards. Externally, the upper medium contender will feature restyled bumpers, and a host of bright new colours. The new Laguna will be on display at the Fleet Motor Show at Donington Park from May 11-14.
