FLEET chiefs will be given a major insight into fleet opportunities for alternatively-fuelled vehicles at the 1998 Fleet Motor Show. The four-day show opens its doors to the public on May 11 at Donington Park and one of the key themes is the exploitation of gas-powered vehicles and the importance of fleets turning to ultra-low sulphur diesel.

At the show there will be a number of gas-powered vehicles for fleets to drive, fuelled by both compressed natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. Fuel providers Calor Autogas, Jet Petroleum through its Jet Autogas subsidiary and Shell Autogas will all have gas-powered vehicles available for driving on the various road routes. Several manufacturers, including Daihatsu and Vauxhall, will be exhibiting gas-powered vehicles.
