A CAR mirror hanger designed to rebut eight commonly quoted prejudices against cars and their pollution, has been produced by the Retail Motor Industry Federation. The federation wants businesses to buy batches of 'The Car, the Environment and the Economy' hangers for promotional purposes.

Christopher Macgowan, chief executive of the RMI, said: 'As green issues are widely debated, these mirror hangers are an excellent opportunity for businesses to promote themselves in an environmentally-conscious way. The RMI is keen to present the facts about pollution, congestion, and to dispel misinformation.'

Hangers are available in packs of 100 (£12, plus VAT). Company business details can be entered on the front, and a self-inking rubber stamp can be provided (£37, plus VAT). Larger quantities can be overprinted (£196, plus VAT, per 10 personalised packs). To order contact the RMI on 0171-253 8921.
