VEHICLE management company Lease Plan has extended supply deals with two companies to supply nearly 300 vehicles in the UK. British Central Electric, Europe's largest electrical wholesale group, has extended a seven-year relationship with Lease Plan following a competitive tendering process with two other companies.
BCE's 190-strong fleet of cars and commercials has changed from an open fleet policy to a Vauxhall/Ford fleet for the new, open-ended scheme. It will be run through Lease Plan's open calculation programme, which offers a cost price approach to vehicle leasing. Lease Plan will also provide accident management, risk management, daily rental and fuel management.
And Lease Plan's Edinburgh office has secured a contract renewal with Elf Exploration for two years for the supply of 100 vehicles through the open calculation scheme. Elf, which has been a customer of Lease Plan for more than two years, has agreed to run the scheme for a further two years.
