JOBS cuts could be facing Ford's senior white collar workers in Britain as the company looks to slash 10% of its managers across the globe. Discussions are still continuing about where the axe will fall in the manufacturer's operations, but it is not yet ruling out the possibility of jobs being lost in the UK.

A Ford spokesman said: 'The figure given for senior management cuts is a ball park figure that applies to Ford globally. It is not known whether that applies to Britain, so it could be 10% or zero. Discussions are at a very early stage.'
