TRANMAN Solutions has clinched a key fleet management software deal, bringing in a host of major customers. In a six-figure acquisition Tranman has taken on the Profleet Fleet Management software division of Prolog Business Systems.

All of Profleet's staff and offices in Birmingham are being retained, and there will be additional customer service, sales and marketing employees. Profleet's customers of The Royal Mail, Severn Trent Water, Welsh Water, Yorkshire Water and various government and emergency service organisations, will now join Tranman's new contracts, with Sainsbury's, Yorkshire Electricity, Richard Lawson Auto Logistics, Servisair, British Airports Authority, Strathclyde Police, West Midlands Police, Moray council, and Nottingham County Council.

The new contracts alone represent an investment of more than £1 million in fleet management solutions.
