THE debut of SEAT's new Toledo at the end of this month will start the company's bid to double fleet sales over the next four years. The Spanish manufacturer, which is a sister company of Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda, believes the Toledo will lead the way in its fleet sales growth when it goes on sale around Easter of next year.

It will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show, giving fleet managers a chance to take a look at the upper medium sector car for the first time in the flesh. Priced between £14,000 and £18,000 the new car will be built on the Audi A3/new Golf platform, and under the bonnet is Volkswagen's 1.6 101bhp, 1.8 20v, V5 and 1.9 90bhp and 110bhp TDis.

Both the 1.8 and V5 are new additions to the Toledo line-up. Safety features include twin airbags as standard, with side airbags as an option, and ABS will be in the majority of trim levels.
