PHH Vehicle Management has secured a contract to supply, manage and maintain Basingstoke company Dolphin Telecommunications' fleet. The contract was won after a competitive tender process involving 11 companies. Eighty vehicles from Dolphin's original multi-badged fleet are included in the agreement and all future vehicles will be leased directly from PHH.

PHH's services incorporate maintenance management, accident management, driver services and its fleet management software package Fleetcom. Dolphin expects its fleet to reach 300 vehicles in the next 12 months as its workforce sales staff and technicians increases. This number will rise further as the company expands its operations in Europe. Dolphin did not have a dedicated fleet manager before the decision to outsource and no one is set to be made redundant.
