HYUNDAI is recalling 33,000 Accent cars built between January 1995 and August 1997 to deal with a front suspension problem which can cause the vehicle to go out of control. The Korean manufacturer is blaming salt on winter roads for causing the spring failure on the front coil, which can cause the driver to have problems steering.
All Accent owners are being asked to contact their local Hyundai dealer to arrange for an inspection to allow any necessary work to be carried out, free of charge. Further information on 0800 389 9430.
