Vauxhall has introduced a new four-year servicing package across its entire electric van line-up.
Available for retail SME business customers, the ‘Upgrade to Business Class’ package includes scheduled servicing for four years (48 months) or 75,000 miles (whichever comes first) on the Combo Electric, Vivaro Electric and Movano Electric for £199 (ex VAT).
Customers purchasing diesel versions of the Combo, Vivaro and Movano can also purchase a four-year servicing package for £299 (exc. VAT).
The wider Stellantis group is expanding its aftersales provision for commercial vehicle customers though the introduction of new dedicated aftersales centres. The ultimate goal is to establish a network of 34 across the UK. Most are brand agnostic with a handful of brand specialists.
The servicing package is available alongside existing LCV offers, including a complimentary home charger and standard residential installation (up to the value of £875 exc. VAT / £1,050 inc. VAT) through Free2move Charge, provided by Octopus Energy. This offer is available to small and medium sized business customers and sole traders who order an electric van up to 30 June, enabling them to charge with ease at their home address. The 7kW Ohme wallbox features 3G/4G connectivity for easy to set up and is compatible with Intelligent Octopus Go, Octopus Energy’s home EV charging tariff.
The new ‘Upgrade to Business Class’ servicing package reinforces Vauxhall’s commitment to making the van ownership experience as hassle-free as possible. This is underlined by its Service4Fleet promise, a set of standards designed to minimise any potential disruption to drivers and fleet operators.
Among the commitments it makes is to service bookings at Vauxhall Van Business Centres within three working days, with all bookings confirmed within 20 minutes. If drivers are concerned about mobility while their vehicle is being worked on, courtesy cars can be provided, while van collections and deliveries are also offered. At the Centres themselves, 90-minute express servicing is available, as is overnight servicing. In the event of urgent repairs being required, a diagnosis will be provided with 24 hours of drop-off, with no further appointment required.
