WELL-known fleet industry personality Stewart Wright has left Deltapoint, where he was sales director, to become a private consultant on the motoring industry. A spokesman for Deltapoint said Wright left after a 'difference of opinion' on the direction the Manchester-based firm.

The company specialises in offering residual value insurance policies in partnership with Cornhill Insurance. Wright, who previously held senior positions with Daewoo and Renault, declined to comment.
