THE business arm of Chrysler Jeep Imports UK, CJ Financial Services, has been restructured bringing with it a new national sales manager and a team of 10 regional finance managers to service the manufacturer's network of UK regions. The move follows a highly successful 1998 in which CJFS saw a rise in business of more than 20% compared with its 1997 figures.

The regional finance managers are part of a fully dedicated team concerned solely with Chrysler Jeep business and their objective is to become more integrated into the running of dealerships. Doug Moody, managing director of CJFS, said: 'The finance managers will become an important and critical part of the dealership management team, generating ideas and contributing to the overall sales and marketing drive. I have asked Chrysler Jeep dealers to consider them as both an integral part of the CJIUK regional team and more importantly an integral part of the dealerships' management teams.'

With the regional finance managers taking responsibility for the 105-strong UK dealer network they will be managed and co-ordinated by a national sales manager, Paul Power. Ray Cornish has also joined as finance and insurance marketing manager from Lloyds UDT where he was Chrysler Jeep franchise development manager.
