TWO long-serving directors of Budget Rent A Car have left the company following a restructuring programme. Mike McRae, vice-president of Budget's fleet operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Neil Summerville, vice-president of corporate development, have left Budget after more than 40 years' service between them.

Their departures follow the implementation of a new strategy by Jean-Claude Ghiotti, the recently appointed president and chief operating officer of Budget EMEA, to decentralise the company and make each national Budget operation accountable for all areas of its business, including fleet.
