MORE than 2,000 fleet managers and fleet decision-makers have to date activated their Fleet Show 1999 badges to guarantee them fast-track access to this year's event. It is expected that the three-day show being held from April 27-29 at the NEC, Birmingham, will attract between 8,000 and 10,000 of Britain's top fleet decision-makers.

However, this week show organiser, Emap Automotive has urged potential visitors to telephone the special hotline (01203 426477) to ensure they avoid the possibility of daily entry queues. A total of 380 people who meet the Fleet Show entry criteria have registered to attend using the Fleet Show Internet site (www.fleetshow.com).

Event manager Chris Lester said: 'It is vitally important that people attending the show activate their badges. Everyone who received a badge with FNN's sister title, Fleet News, or Fleet Car Business and who has not activated their badge will receive a reminder this week.'

At the time of going to press 138 companies will be exhibiting at the show with bookings in the last few days coming from Bri-stor Systems, Ford dealer Bristol Street Birmingham, C S Electronics, Carebridge, Credit Card Keys, Elite Business Systems, Guy Salmon, H-Modul, JWE Telecom, Motor Consulting & Management, Mul-t-lock UK, Road Sense, Sony UK and The DMIPI Partnership.
