THE entry-level BMW 316i at £18,345 on the road and 316iSE at £19,645 on the road have gone on sale, joining the rest of the 3-series line-up.

Now powered by the same 1,895cc engine as the 318i but with power increased from 102bhp to 105bhp, and combined fuel economy up to 36.2mpg. Equipment levels are similar to the 318i and 318iSE, although the 316i has steel wheels rather than alloys.
