FORD is chopping hundreds of pounds from the price of its Ka models, and increasing specification to include power steering and driver's airbag as standard. In a change to the line-up the manufacturer is axing the base-model Ka, without power-steering which was £7,620 on the road. The base model with power steering was £8,020.
Now the base model with power steering and driver's airbag costs £7,495 on-the-road. Similarly the price of the Ka2 is cut from £9,020 to £8,495 on-the- road, and the Ka3 comes down from £9,820 to £9,495 on-the-road. For the spring and summer Ford is also launching a limited edition Collection Ka2 at £8,595 on-the-road, which features body-coloured bumpers in either Amparo blue or silver, plus it has chrome-effect kick-plates and 'Collection' carpet mats. Interior trim includes leather steering wheel and gear knob.
