A GUIDE giving fleet managers listings of all crash tests carried out under the European New Car Assessment Programme is launched by the AA. The EuroNCAP guide follows calls for accessible information to the crash test results which are becoming an important guideline in many acquisition policies. It explains the tests, which show how far vehicles exceed legal requirements for crash safety.

So far, Euro NCAP has tested superminis, lower-medium cars, upper-medium cars and executive cars. The guide, which is free, is being handed out at the AA's Fleet Show stand (3L30) from Tuesday to Thursday.
