CITROEN has not only slashed the price of many of its models, it is also now offering small to medium fleets a £1,000 cashback on the Xsara, Xantia and Synergie models. Any fleet sized between two and 199 vehicles can choose between a £1,000 cashback, a package of a three-year extended warranty, three years' servicing and three years' roadside recovery, or £1,000 worth of computer equipment on each vehicle.

This offer comes only a short time after the French manufacturer unveiled price cuts for the Xsara, as well an improvement on standard specification to include ABS and four airbags.

Similarly the Xantia has also had its price slashed and specification improved to make it more competitive against the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and Renault Megane. Olivier Pittet, managing director of Citroen UK, said: 'Fleets looking for high levels of specification at value for money prices cannot afford to ignore these offers.'
