PAUL Austin has stepped down as managing director of driver training company Drive & Survive to explore new business opportunities. He will remain on Drive & Survive's board and retain a substantial share-holding in the company, which has grown rapidly and diversified in the last few years.

Andy Neale, managing director of D&S Events, the event management division, will take over as managing director. He has been with the company for nine years.
