AUTOMOTIVE parts specialist Unipart is targeting fleets, insurers, accident management companies and bodyshops with a new range of crash repair parts. The company has bought Wakefield-based Sterling Automotive, renamed OB (Bodyshop Services), an established supplier of 'all makes' independent parts to the accident repair market.

Chief executive John Neill said the Unipart Group of Companies was committed to increasing its involvement in the growing bodyshop sector. He announced plans to set up a national network of specialist bodyshop wholesalers to supply repairers. OB (Bodyshop Services) will offer parts and body panels manufactured to stringent aftermarket quality standards.
