NATIONAL Car Rental has signed a new contract with fleet management company CLM and has been appointed as a daily car rental supplier to meet the company's increasing vehicle rental requirements.

Following several major contract wins over the last six months, CLM has experienced a significant increase in its level of business and, to meet the demand, National will supply a mix of A-D group cars and LCVs for an average rental period of four days.

CLM's annual rental requirements are in excess of £1.3million with about 30% being outsourced to a variety of suppliers. It is estimated that, during 1999, CLM's rental business will increase by 20-30%. As part of the agreement, Speedlink, National's paperless rental management system, will be installed at CLM.
