LEX Vehicle Leasing has been appointed to manage the 650-company car fleet of UK and France catering food supply specialist Brake Brothers. Operating through a dedicated help desk based at its headquarters in Marlow, Lex will provide all servicing, maintenance, accident recovery, administration and vehicle reporting for the cars and will offer drivers a direct link to the Brake Brothers' account management team.

A spokesman for Lex said it had been chosen because it offers a 'level of efficiency which ensures drivers' problems can be sorted out immediately and Brake benefits from cost savings through Lex's purchasing power for maintenance and servicing'. Lex also provides contract hire for Kent-based Brake Brothers - a service that has been in operation since 1996. Most of the company's cars are Peugeots supplied under a solus agreement.
