A NORTH-East company has appointed GE Capital Fleet Services to provide maintenance management for its fleet of 40 commercials and 130 cars and also be responsible for the leasing of all new and replacement vehicles. The contract has been awarded by VA TECH Reyrolle, a manufacturer of high-voltage power transmission and distribution equipment based at Hebburn, Tyne and Wear.
Commenting on the contract, GECFS managing director Jonathan Burr told Fleet NewsNet: 'With the increasing trend towards outsourcing, we recognise the need to develop total solutions for our customers, assessing not only existing fleet capacity and productivity but also helping to develop effective company car policies.'
