TOYOTA sold a record 299,600 cars in Europe in the first six months of this year, 4% up on last year. UK sales are 4% up year-on-year at 47,900.

Following the launch of the Yaris and Lexus IS200 the Japanese manufacturer is confident full-year sales will reach 600,000 units.
