THE Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union has bought a Car Fleet Control package to run its 200-strong fleet of Vauxhall Vectras and Astras driven by officials of the 700,000-member union.

CFC is also offering fleets which need real-time remote data access to fleet management software through its new Citrix software package and ISDN link. The system is aimed at cutting down on administration and time spent on tasks including the comparison of fuel usage.
