CITROEN has won its largest ever light commercial van deal in a contract to supply British Sky Broadcasting with 800 Berlingo diesel vans. The Leasecontracts division of GE Capital Fleet Services will provide a full maintenance contract hire package for the fleet, 500 of which are to be delivered in the next two months and the rest by the end of the year.

Demand for BSkyB's new digital television products has meant the company needed to expand its fleet, and the new vehicles will be distributing product from depots throughout the country. The Berlingos will operate alongside BSkyB's 2,300 Vauxhall Combo vans.
