THE Peugeot 206 Coupe Cabriolet will cost £15,995 on-the-road when it goes on sale in January next year, it was announced at the show. The 2.0 16v SE 2+2 with an electrically operated retractable rigid roof which opens and closes with all four side windows at the press of a button, will be joined next spring by a 1.6 16v S version.

The 2.0-litre 16v engine is from the 206 GTi and has a top speed of 126 mph, a 0-62 mph time of 8.9 seconds, fuel economy on the combined cycle of 35.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of 191 g/km.
