BRAKE, a voluntary-sector road safety organisation, will run a Road Safety Week 2001 (March 31- April 5) to help raise awareness of the extent of deaths and injuries on roads and improve the level of care taken by everyone on roads -particularly fleet drivers.

The Road Safety Week 2001 will be preceded by a one-day workshop for fleet managers (March 15) on implementing a drug and alcohol policy. In addition, a range of expert speakers will give an overview into the impact of drug and alcohol abuse among fleet drivers. For further details telephone 01484 559909.
