FLEET operators running Peugeot vans are being offered fixed quotes for replacement parts for light commercial vehicles, along with more accurate downtime estimates.

Peugeot says the service available from its dealerships or Peugeot Express Fit centres will allow fleet managers to plan the cost and time taken to carry out replacement and repair work for vehicles. Customers will be quoted a total price - including labour -and an accurate estimate of the time needed to do the job.

A spokeswoman said: 'The company van is the lifeblood of any small business. But the cost and time needed to maintain and repair the vehicle can be a strain, which would be alleviated if the owner knew exactly how much it would cost to carry out the necessary work and how long it would be off the road.

'Now all owners of Peugeot LCVs have the peace of mind that the price they are quoted is the price they'll pay, and can be confident that they need only be without the vehicle for the time specified by the Peugeot dealership or Express Fit service staff.'

The service is also offered with timed appointment, 'while-you-wait' servicing, or lifts to and from the place of work and the dealership.
