BRITISH Car Auctions has been awarded a one-year extension to its mainland UK contract to auction, market and directly sell surplus non-armoured Ministry of Defence vehicles and plant equipment.

The original three-year contract with the MoD was due to expire at the end of March but the deadline has now been extended until March 31, 2002.
