MERCEDES-Benz has paved the way for automatic guidance systems by launching Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC). The new brake technology, which will be fitted to all future Mercedes-Benz passenger car models, passes the driver's braking commands into a microcomputer that calculates the optimum brake pressure for each wheel.
