FOR the first time Sally Hair and Beauty Supplies has decided to operate Citroen cars and vans. The company is acquiring 19 Citroen C15 Champ D600 vans and 17 Xsara 1.6i hatchbacks and Xsara Picasso 1.6is in LX and SX trim levels.

It also plans to take delivery of further Citroen vans as other vehicles in its fleet become due for replacement. The vehicles will replace a mix of 35 Ford cars and 30 Ford vans and the new Citroens will be operated on a three-year/90,000-mile full maintenance contract hire agreement with GKL Leasing. Citroen dealer Bryan Brothers in Bristol will supply the vehicles. The vans will be used to deliver products to 122 hairdressing salons in the UK, while sales representatives and district managers will use the company's Xsara Picasso cars.
