The site is now accessible at: www.bp.com/cleanerfuels/uk and features details of over 100 BP service stations stocking LPG - searchable by area, town or city.
Drivers who log on to the site can ask questions about BP's cleaner fuels and their benefits, read advice on how to run a cleaner car and even pick up tips on how to pass an emissions test. The web-site will also be available through the internet kiosks in the BP Connect stores, which are opening throughout the UK.
Lower government duty reduces the price by more than half as much as diesel – around 37.9 pence per litre – so drivers can get up to 50% more 'miles per pound' by using LPG instead of other fuels. In addition, fleet managers planning to run company vehicles on LPG can receive Energy Savings Trust conversion grants.
