AUDI is upgrading and replacing Audi Central Ordering with a new web-based system in a bid to simplify the buying process for its major fleet customers. Audi Corporate Online will be available through the company website at www.audi.co.uk and will contain full details on models, emissions data and how various extra equipment will affect emissions. It is expected to be up and running during the summer. Contract hire companies and major fleet customers will have access to a password-protected section to check on the progress of cars already ordered, and they will also be able to find information on vehicles in stock. Telephones will still be staffed to deal with enquiries, but Audi wants the new service to be the first port of call.
