SENIOR management changes at Powermarque, subsidiary of water firm AWG, have sparked renewed rumours that the firm is being geared up for sale.

Matthew Dunne, appointed managing director last month following the departure of founding managing director James Daly to rival firm Hertz Lease, has denied the claims.

The latest changes have seen Paul McKay, sales and marketing director, leave by mutual agreement, while Brian Cairns, formerly division director of the firm's online sister company Calleva, has been made operations director. Stephen Westwell, who was general manager of customer services, has taken over as head of sales.
