SMART has announced prices for the first influx of right hand drive models to enter Britain in early November.

The compact car, with CO2 emissions of 118g/km for manuals and 122g/km for automatics, will cost from £6,295 on the road for the entry level 44bhp smart & pure. The sportier smart & pulse starts at £7,295, while the more opulent but less powerful smart & passion can be put on the road for £7,995. The City Cabriolet is £2,000 more, at £9,995 OTR.

All models are around 10% more expensive than the left hand drive versions, which smart claims is due to the cost of swapping the steering wheel.
