DONCASTER-based Jarvis Facilities has awarded the contract for its vehicle renewals to Lex Vehicle Leasing.

Lex expects to deliver about 500 vehicles run on contract hire during the six-month contract, which runs from January to June 2002. However, the contract can be extended for a further six months.

Ringways in Doncaster will supply the vehicles and Clark Vehicle Conversions will carry out conversions.

Jarvis, which provides small plant, portable accommodation, rail-mounted plant and customised light commercial vehicles to the UK's railway engineering industry, has a 3,000 vehicle fleet.
