DAIMLERCHRYSLER Italia aims to make the complicated process of buying a car in Italy simpler. Currently, customers do not officially own a car until they have registered it at a central vehicle registration office, even if they have paid for it. DaimlerChrysler Italia will now take care of the registration on behalf of Mercedes-Benz customers. (August 2000)
