LOOKERS, the dealer group, has sold its Mercedes-Benz dealership in Southend for £5.1 million. The dealership, which trades as SMAC, was sold to the Lancaster Group. The dealership recorded pre-tax profits of £230,000 for 2000 with assets disposed of amounting to about £4.2 million.
