May 2000: EUROPACOM.NET has ordered 50 Rover vehicles for its fleet, with half going to sales staff in Germany and France.

The UK-based telecommunications firm, which has pan-European expansion plans, has signed a deal with the manufacturer worth more than €987,000. It believes having Rover vehicles on its fleet will help boost its public image and will initially take delivery of 50 Rover 45 and 75s.
