CITROEN will be offering a six-speed manual transmission on C5 models, along with the expansion of the VTR range to include more powerful engines.

The six-speed transmission will be offered on 2.2 HDi models, which record almost 45mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 167g/km. VTR models will now also be available with the 2.0-litre petrol engine and the 2.2 HDi diesel. All variants include air conditioning, alarm, six airbags and alloy wheels as standard, with an optional mesh grille and rear spoiler. Prices for the 1.8-litre VTR start at £15,500 on-the-road, rising to £17,700 for the six-speed 2.2 HDi VTR hatchback.
